Who helps us at Sumner School?

This term for our inquiry we are learning about who helps us and how we say thank you.

We wrote about some of the people and how we think they help us.


Mr Cameron is our principal.  He is nice principal because he works out all the problems in the school like if the pipes are blocked.  He is also my best buddy and he cancels his own plans to help us.

Trevor is our caretaker. He tidies the gutters and fixes the lights.  Trevor helps me by getting balls down from trees.  I love Trevor.

Imogen is one of our head students.  I like it when she helps with assembly.  She is pretty and kind.  She helps us in the playground

How to catch a mouse by Emilia

Haw to mak a mad chap... get boxis and poor host in and Sam ches. Then you wat for the mid and went the mis came the caj doo will Sam sat.




How to make a mouse trap... Get a box and put some holes in it and some cheese. Then you wait for the mouse and when the mice come the cage door will slam shut.

Th ones used a box and pot ches in to triy to cah the mis.

Elmer elephant art

Today our letter was e. We read the story of Elmer the Elephant who is different colours to normal elephants. One day a year the elephants painted themselves crazy colours and Elmer paints himself elephant colour.

We designed our own elephants.
